President Eisenhower today cabled personal greetings to President Ben Zvi and the people of Israel on the occasion of the celebration of the sixth anniversary of Israel’s independence.
The White House cable, signed by Mr. Eisenhower, said: “The people of the United States join me in sending congratulations and sincere good wishes to Your Excellency and to the people of Israel on this anniversary of Israel’s independence.”
