President Eisenhower, in a message to the America-Israel Society dinner here last night, made it clear that friendship between the United States and Israel should be fostered in this country “in the interest of international peace.” The message, addressed to Governor Theodore R. McKeldin, president of the Society, said:
“To all members of the Society go my warm greetings on its recent establishment. The fostering of better understanding between peoples of the United States and Israel is clearly in the interest of international peace, and in this pursuit, I wish to the Society every success.”
