Five-day Conference to Discuss Jewish Communal Problems

Various aspects of Jewish communal life in the United States will be discussed at the 56th annual five-day conference of the National Conference of Jewish Communal Service which will open here Saturday evening. More than 1, 000 social workers and educators from 300 Jewish communities are to participate in the conference.

An announcement issued here today by Philip Bernstein, president of the NCJCS, said that the sessions will be devoted to family welfare, education, child care, community organization, vocational services, medical and health services, programs for the aged and problems involving the fight against bigotry and for civil liberties.
