The process followed by the Israel-Arab mixed armistice commissions is “an exhaustive and frustrating business for the United Nations observers involved,” David M. Key, Assistant Secretary of State for United Nations Affairs, today told the Minnesota Medical Association.

Mr. Key said the work of the mixed armistice commissions in the Israel area was, “however, helping to maintain the armistice while allowing time to work out a permanent settlement of the serious and complicated problems. “
