Eisenhower May Discuss Arab-israel Issue with Churchill

President Eisenhower indicated at his press conference today that the Arab-Israel situation will be discussed when he meets on June 25 and for several days thereafter with British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Foreign Secretary Anthony Eden.

The President did not mention the Near East specifically, but made it clear that the informal talks will definitely cover all world problems and said that no one could mention a subject which will not be discussed.

Israel Ambassador Abba Eban, accompanied by Meir Sherman, economic minister of the Embassy of Israel, met with director Harold Stassen of the Foreign Operations Administration today to discuss economic cooperation between the United States and Israel during the coming fiscal year.
