Volunteer advisors who counsel B’nai B’rith Youth Organization chapters in the eastern part of the United States and Canada will attend a four-day Advisors’ Training Conference at Camp B’nai B’rith here, opening tomorrow.

A series of seminars and small discussion groups will be a feature of the conference, major focus of which will be on equipping the advisor to serve more efficiently as a youth group leader. Included in the program will be workshops designed to improve the advisor’s technique in program-planning and adolescent guidance.

BBYO advisors serve as non-paid volunteers, and work directly with individual BBYO chapters under the supervision of the organization’s professionally-trained staff. There are some 1,500 advisors throughout the United States and Canada.
