Ambassador Shmuel Elyashiv, Israeli envoy to Moscow, is going to visit Birobidjan, in Soviet Siberia, it was announced here today. Mr. Eliayshiv will be the first Israeli diplomat to to to that area.
The Ambassador to Moscow will not leave for Birobidjan, however, until after the departure from the Soviet Union of Mrs. Vera Weizmann, wife of the late President Weizmann. Mr. Weizmann will arrive in Moscow Friday on a visit. Mr. Eliayshiv has scheduled a special reception for Mrs. Weizmann, and will facilitate her tour.
