Jacob Tsur, Israel Ambassador to France, left Paris this week-end for consultations with government leaders in Israel. Mr. Tsur’s visit, which has been described by the Embassy here as “routine,” will last a fortnight.
It is believed here that Mr. Tsur has been summoned home for consultations dealing with the Western Powers policy vis-a-vis Israel and the Arab States, and particularly with the new situation created by the British decision to lift its embargo on the sale of arms to Egypt.
