The Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion today conferred an honorary degree upon Dr. Ben Zion Dinur, Israel Minister of Education and Culture, who is now visiting the United States.
Dr. Dinur returned to New York from a visit to Washington where he conferred with government leaders on various phases of educational and cultural activities of mutual interest. Last Sunday the Jewish Theological Seminary conferred the honorary degree of Doctor of Hebrew Letters upon him.
