Twelve men and a woman arrested in recent months in Egypt have been indicted on charges of espionage in behalf of Israel and will be tried soon by an Egyptian military court, dispatches from Cairo reported here today.
The reports named five of the 13 indicted Jews. They were identified as Abraham Dar, alias Darling, described as an Israeli army officer; Paul Frank; Miss Victorine Nilo, alias Marcelle, described as a secretary of a British firm in Egypt; Dr. Moses Lito Marzook, a physician at the Israel Hospital in Cairo; Samuel Bakhour Ezra, a teacher; and Max Beneth, listed as an executive in a car agency in Cairo. Darling and Frank, neither of whom are now in Egypt, will be tried in absentia.
