Israel and Belgium Seek to Conclude Permanent Extradition Pact

Negotiations between Israel and Belgium for the conclusion of a permanent extradition treaty between the two states opened today at the Foreign Ministry here.

The negotiatiations here are part of an overall Israeli plan to conclude extradition pacts with various West European countries. The Belgian delegation at the negotiations is headed by A.H. Herment, Inspector-General of the Foreign Ministry, while the Israeli delegation is headed by Joseph Kokia, director general of the Ministry of Justice.
