The United States Government was criticized for planning to send arms to the Arab states in a proclamation adopted last night at the 31st annual convention of the National Committee for Labor Israel, he Id at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The convention was attended by 3,000 delegates.

The proclamation appealed “to democratic public opinion” in this country and throughout the world “to press for recognition of Israel’s right to peace along its borders.” The proclamation also called upon the governments of the United States and other free democracies “to use their good offices” so that any plan leading to a just peace, should be accepted by the Arab states.
