Zionist Leader Dies in Rumanian Jail; Directed Emigration

M. Yampolsky, a leading Jewish communal worker in Rumania arrested for “illegal Zionist activity” three years ago, has died in a Bucharest jail, according to reports received here. He was the last director of the Palestine Emigration Office in the Rumanian capital.
