Police were today investigating the possibility that an irate neighbor may have been responsible for the bomb incident yesterday at ZOA House here, the American Jewish cultural and recreational center established and maintained by the Zionist Organization of America. The investigation is being headed by Police Minister Behor Shitreet and his deputy, Amos Ben Gurion.

Police theorized that one of a number of neighbors who have recently complained about noise from garden affairs at ZOA House might have planted the bomb which last night destroyed a section of the fence on the perimeter of the garden and wounded two people slightly. They are also considering the possibility that extremists opposed to the use of the Yiddish language were responsible since at the time of the explosion a play in Yiddish was being presented at the center. The play was “The Witch,” starring the American Jewish actress, Dina Halpern.
