The number of British Jews contemplating settlement in Israel is increasing, declared Chaim Golan, representative of the Jewish Agency’s Aliyah Department, in a report to the executive of the Zionist Federation here. Housing conditions in Israel have improved substantially during the past three years, at prices acceptable to all sections of the potential immigrants, he added.
