Egyptian military experts have arrived in Switzerland to buy arms and radar equipment, it was reported today by the National Zeitung of Basle. Earlier this year the Egyptians bought Swiss anti-tank guns, while it was reported that among the booty seized by Israel troops in border clashes with the Egyptians were a number of anti-aircraft guns manufactured in Switzerland.

The Swiss Government announced today that it was its policy not to send military supplies or equipment into an area where there is a possibility of armed conflict, but stated that outstanding contracts to furnish arms to Egypt would be fulfilled. Officials here said today that the quantities involved in the Egyptian contracts was “not great.”
