A demonstration of unemployed Moslems at the nearby town of La Goulette turned into an anti-Jewish action yesterday when the demonstrators demolished the bakery of Albert Assuied, a Jew.

A secret anti-Zionist conference was held here recently during the visit to this country of Ahmed Hassen el Bakouri, a special representative of Egyptian Premier Nasser, it was learned here today. Although the parley does not appear to have been a success, M. Bakouri succeeded in organizing a front organization for the distribution of Egyptian anti-Israel and other propaganda in Tunis. The organization is known as “Messageries du Proche Oriente.”
