Two resolutions were introduced in the State Legislature here today calling upon the United States Congress to conclude a mutual security pact with Israel and to supply her with enough arms to place the Jewish State on an equal footing with Egypt.

Assemblyman Kelly’s resolution noted that as long as the Communists were supplying the Arabs with arms and Israel had practically no source of arms there was insufficient inducement for the Arabs to keep the peace. Assemblyman Weiser said the conclusion of an American Israel mutual security pact would help keep the peace. He also urged defensive weapons for Israel.
