A congress of Latin American Jewry has been called for March 3-5 to be held in Montevideo under the joint sponsorship of the Jewish Agency and the World Jewish Congress, Dr. Isaac Goldenberg, president of the Argentine Zionist Central Council, announced at a press conference today.
At the same time, a youth congress will be held in Montevideo for the representatives of Jewish youth organizations from all parts of the continent. Invitations to both parleys will be sent from Jerusalem and Buenos Aires to all Jewish institutions in Latin America.
