Moslem Leader Warns Jews in Morocco to Keep Away from “zionism”

A Moslem Brotherhood leader who has come here from Egypt to contact nationalist leaders in Morocco today voiced an implied threat against the Jews of Morocco. Addressing a press conference here. Said Ramdan, secretary general of the Islamic Congress and a leader of the Moslem Brotherhood, warned the Moroccan Jews that they would enjoy the same rights as other inhabitants of Morocco, provided they did not identify themselves with Zionism.

Speaking of Israel, Mr. Ramdan said that those Jews who were living in Palestine before the creation of the State of Israel “had and still retain the same rights as Christians and Moslems” living there at that time “But all the Jews who have since arrived and settled in Palestine–through force of arms–have no right to remain there. he added.
