West Germany President. The odor Heuss paid tribute to the memory of Sigmund Freud in a speech at an academic meeting in the auditorium of Frankfurt University marking the 100th birthday of the founder of psychoanalysis, whose teachings were utterly suppressed under the rule of Nazism and even today have not regained the place in the realm of German science which they occupy in most other Western countries.
