Plans to construct a railroad between Beersheba and the phosphate mines of the deep Negev and an aerial railway for the transportation of chemicals from the potash plant at Sdom to the port of Eilath were placed before the Israel Government today.

The plans were prepared by Compagnie Dunkerquise, a French construction company which has signed a contract to build a subway in Haifa and has prepared a plan for a subway in Tel Aviv. The plan calls for completion of both Negev projects within two years at a cost of $10,000,000. The government is expected to give the company a reply within a month.
