The Yugoslav Government’s permitting Yugoslav Jews to leave the country as immigrants to Israel was highly praised here last night by Joseph Sprinzak, Speaker of the Knesset, in an address at a state banquet given for a touring Yugoslav parliamentary delegation.

Mr. Sprinzak expressed Israel’s admiration for Yugoslavia’s fight against the German occupation and its “colossal” work in rebuilding the country after the war. Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett, who also spoke at the banquet, hailed the friendship between the peoples and governments of the two countries.
