Dr. Abraham Katsh, chairman of the Department of Hebrew Culture and Education at New York University, this week-end presented to NYU a very old Toran he obtained this summer from the Oriental Institute of the Academy of Science in Leningrad. During a tour of the Soviet Union Prof. Katsh also brought back 72 Hebrew manuscripts and a microfilm of what is believed to be the oldest Bible in existence.
