Australia’s Foreign Minister Says Israel’s Action Was Not “aggression”

Australia’s Minister for External Affairs defended last night the Anglo-French invasion of the Suez area, terming it an “essential preliminary’ to the establishment of a United Nations police force. Speaking at a press conference, Richard G. Casey said that he would not call Israel’s action aggression but rather a “completely understandable kick-back” to Egyptian provocation.
