The Moscow radio broadcast today an article from the leading Soviet Government newspaper “Izvestia,” severely attacking Israel and warning the Israel Government that the very existence of the Jewish State is at stake.”
“From the very first days of her appearance in the international arena, Israel began to threaten her neighbors and pursue an unfriendly policy towards them, ” the article stated. “Israeli rulers became the hired gendarme of the colonial powers in the Arab East ready to obey blindly any order of their masters. With the appearance of the state of Israel, where power has been captured by irresponsible groups of adventurers, the Middle East has become a veritable powder keg.”
