More than 2, 000 Jews are in Egyptian concentration camps now, and there is “grave concern for the fate of 60, 000 other Jews still in Egypt,” Mrs. Golda Meir. Israel Foreign Minister, declared here.

Visiting this capital this weekend for a conference with Canada’s Prime Minister, Louis St. Laurent, Mrs. Meir declared that Israel would welcome all Jewish refugees from Egypt. “Whether the number is 60, 000 or 600, 000,” she stated, “the doors are open.”
