Britain and Israel have signed a convention guaranteeing each other’s nationals the right to a variety of social insurance payments earned in both countries. Minister for Pensions and National Insurance Boyd-Carpenter announced in Parliament today.
Under the terms of the convention, the beneficiary would be entitled to the total benefits toward which he had contributed in either or both countries. Included among the benefits are. retirement pensions; maternity benefits, widow’s pensions, industrial injury or death compensation payments, and medical treatment.
