Maurice Orbach, Labor MP and secretary of the Trade and Advisory Council, a body which works against discrimination under the auspices of the Beard of Deputies of British Jews, has turned over to Scotland Yard a threatening letter from the Ku Klux Klan which was mailed in Waco, Texas.

The letter, signed simply “Ku Klux Klan,” warned Mr. Orbach to “lay off” his denunciations of racial discrimination in industry. Similar letters have been received by other prominent Britons fighting discrimination, including Fenner Brockway, another Labor MP.
