Israel Charters Foreign Vessels for Voyages Through Suez and Akaba

The Danish freighter Ulia Danielson is scheduled to make a run between Elath, Israel’s southern port, and Abdan, Iran, under charter to Zim-Shoham laines of Haifa, it was learned today.

It is understood that the Danish-flag ship will carry a cargo of cement from Elath. Two other foreign vessels have been chartered by Zim for voyages to and from Haifa through the Suez Canal.
