Mrs. Rose Halprin, acting chairman of the American Section of the Jewish Agency, was honored today at a ceremonial laying of the cornerstone of a sports and cultural hall in her name at Alonei Yitzhak, a Youth Aliyah institution.
Members of the Jewish Agency executive lauded Mrs. Halprin’s 30 years of Zionist service. Mrs. Miriam Granott, president of Hadassah in Israel, presented Mrs. Halprin with a Jewish National Fund Golden Book certificate.
