Israeli Ambassador Abba Eban saw United Nations Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold this morning for a short period to finish his discussions on the UN official’s views concerning the forthcoming twelfth General Assembly.
Mr. Eban left this afternoon for Israel to report on his conversations with both Mr. Hammarskjold and State Department officials. He will return to the United States shortly before the opening of the UN Assembly sessions next month.
