Dr. Joseph Burg, Israel’s Minister for Posts, left for the United States today via Zurich and London. He will undertake a six-week tour of the U. S. on behalf of the Israel bond drive.
Dr Burg is bringing with him a silver medal to be presented to Francis Cardinal Spellman of New York. Cardinal Spellman’s stamp entry in the Tabil international philatelic exhibition in Israel was awarded the medal. It was entitled “Religion in Stamps.”
