The defense committee of the Board of Deputies of British Jews was charged today with the responsibility for dealing with anti-Jewish discrimination practiced by one of England’s most famous hotels, the Royal Bath, in the southern resort town of Bournemouth. The decision to have the committee take action followed a warm debate in which elements in the Board said that there were adequate accommodations for Jews in Bournemouth and the matter should be ignored. The bias charges against the famous hostelry have attracted considerable attention.
