Officials of this former capital city of Baden and officers of the Supreme Council of Israelites,” the ancient representative body of Saden Jewry, have jointly visited two neglected camp cemeteries near Tolouse, where some 6 000 Baden Jews deported to Southern France in 1940 are buried. The City of Karlsruhe has declared its willingness to participate in the rehabilitation of these desolate grave-yards.
