More than 1000 American Jewish leaders from communities in all parts of the country are expected to attend the conference.

The conference will set goals for the 1958 drive, elect officers and officially wind up this year’s campaign. Marking the final effort for the current year, proceeds of the Cash Collection Drive will be turned over to redeem UJA pledges made during 1957 for both the regular and $100,000,000 Emergency Rescue Fund drive.

Conference delegates will hear a report of the 100-man UJA Overseas Study Mission recently returned from an on-the-spot survey of the work and needs of UJA-supported agencies conducting aid programs in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and helping the people of Israel cope with the tremendous influx of Jewish refugees seeking a new start there.
