Israel’s Democratic Form Stressed by Consul General Pratt

Israel Consul General Simcha Pratt, appearing last night at the Young Israel Institute for Jewish Studies here, told his audience that Israel enjoys the highest form of democracy known to mankind. He expressed his conviction that the overwhelming majority of Israel’s inhabitants are well pleased with the traditional forms of life sanctioned by the law of the State.

He cited a number of interesting instances to support his contention that the freedom of the individual is kept inviolate under all circumstances.
