The 40th anniversary of the existence of the Yiddish daily newspaper “Di Presse,” one of the leading Jewish newspapers in Latin America, was celebrated here today at a gathering attended by leaders of all walks of Jewish life. Israel Ambassador Dr. Arieh Kubovi was among the principal speakers. The other Jewish newspaper in Buenos Aires carried articles marking the anniversary.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
