A revival of Jewish cultural life in Bulgaria was reported here today. A report from Sofia speaks of a Jewish club organized to present and promote all sorts of artistic and cultural activities. It described a recent literary evening at which Bulgarian Jewish writers read from their prose find poetry and at which a leading Bulgarian poet delivered a highly favorable critique of the poetry of Israeli writer Alexander Penn.
