Jewish and Hungarian intellectuals held a mass memorial ceremony in Budapest to honor the Jewish artists, writers and actors killed during the Nazi occupation of Hungary. Representatives of the Communist regime were present when a plaque bearing the names of 112 Jewish intellectuals murdered by the Nazis was placed on the wall of a state theatre in the Hungarian capital, according to reports from Budapest.
