Rep. Robert W. Hemphill, South Carolina Democrat, today announced that be has asked to have his name omitted when the entire 85th Congress is honored next month by the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith for civil rights legislation. The Congressman made public a letter declining an invitation to attend an award meeting on March 3. He asked: “Please do not include me as a recipient of the award.”
