Jewish Situation in Tunisia Normal; Emigration from Algeria Planned

Despite the tense situation in Tunisia, due to the French bombing of a Tunisian village, the situation of the Jews there is normal, according to reports received here today by the Jewish Agency.

The reports came via Algeria, where Zionist leaders from the larger North African cities have just concluded a conference. The conference adopted a decision to intensify Zionist activities throughout North Africa and to prepare for sizable emigration from Algeria to Israel.
