Friends of Hebrew University to Resume Their Activities in Poland

The Friends of the Hebrew University will resume its activities in Poland within a month, Prof. Tadeusz Kotarbinski, president of the Polish Academy of Sciences, told a new conference here today.

Expressing his admiration for what he had seen in Israel on this trip, Prof. Kotarbinski urged the encouragement of social and cultural contacts between Israel and Poland. He reported that Polish scientists lived in an atmosphere of academic freedom and were free to choose their subjects of study and publish their findings “without interference,”
