More than 2,000 persons attended a memorial meeting here last night marking the 15th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. The meeting was arranged by the World Congress for Jewish Culture. Memorial meetings are also arranged by the American Jewish Congress, Club of Polish Jews in the United States and other organizations.

Messages were received at the WJC meeting from Lord Bertrand Russell, the British philosopher; Prof. Martin Buber, famed Jewish thinker now in the United States on a visit; and New York’s Gov. Averill Harriman. Six candles were lit on the platform to commemorate the six million murdered Jews.
