A distinguished group of Canadians and Israelis, including the Canadian Ambassador, E.D. McGreer, attended ceremonies in Eilat yesterday dedicating the Moshe Dickstein Medical Certre. The centre is named after the late president of the Labor Zionist movement in Canada and is the first institution to be constructed in Israel with funds raised exclusively by the Canadian Histadrut Campaign.

The 14-room clinic will be a unit of the Kupat Holim, the Histadrut’s health service, and will serve Eilat’s 4.000 residents as well as the population of a vide area south of Beersheba. The center was officially declared open by Mrs. M. Dickstein.
