Italy is giving favorable consideration to President Nasser’s invitation to Italian Premier Amintore Fanfani to visit Cairo, an official source revealed today. He said the visit might take place soon.
The invitation was conveyed orally by United Arab Republic Ambassador to Roine Saroite Akacha. The UAR envoy has just returned from consultations in Cairo where the question of Italian assets frozen in Egypt was discussed.
