Cabinet Body Blames Israel Commander for Shooting Curfew Violators

An Israel Cabinet committee investigating the tragic slaying of 43 Arab villagers at Kafr Kassem in 1956, on the eve of the Sinal jump-off, today reported, in effect, that the area commander, Col. Issachar Shadmi, must bear the blame for the drastic orders to shoot all curfew violators.
