A movement whereby German youth will have an opportunity of expiating some of the wrongs committed by the Nazi regime, has been launched here by the Evangelic Academy.

Under the plan, youths will be sent to a number of countries–first of all to the Soviet Union, Poland and Israel–to participate in the “signs of expiation” actions. The youths will participate in reconstruction work in the countries, to help repay in part for the havoc wrought by German National Socialism.
