Fifteen young Arab citizens of Israel have been awarded government prizes for literary works including poetry novels, short stories and drama. Among the winners is a 13-year-old boy from a Northern Galilee village who won an award for a lengthy ode in classic Arabic, commemorating Israel’s tenth anniversary.
