When Moscow begins telling the truth about Israel, it will have taken a considerable step toward better relations between the two states, Foreign Minister Golda Meir declared in a newspaper interview today. Current attacks on Israel in the Soviet press and on the Moscow radio are hurting chances for improved relations, Mrs. Meir said.
Asked to comment on reports of improved relations between Washington and Cairo, Mrs. Meir said she was not accepting the reports as fact. She added that though there might be some confusion in certion cerciles about President Nasser’s true nature, there was no question about his intention of taking over the Middle East and expanding into Africa.
